In their own words · from the filing
Standard payment terms
Invoices payable to companies within the ABG Group are paid based on date received + the agreed payment term of 30/45/60 days via a net settlement process offsetting any receivable amounts due from those companies. Other suppliers are paid 30/45/60 days from invoice date (provided a valid VAT invoice is submitted quoting a PO/ reference number). Some exceptions are made for immediate payment where required by contractual agreement which is approved by the procurement manager
Dispute resolution
Any queries must be emailed to [email protected]. If necessary, subsequent escalation can be made by contacting the Procurement Manager or appropriate stakeholder – the Procurement Manager can then escalate within the team at the shared service centre and ask for specific actions to be taken whilst then communicating with the supplier. Validation is sought from invoice approvers in terms of disputed invoices. Set off may be allowed if a settlement has to be made subject to payment terms and contractual agreement position.

How UK payment reporting works
What is a Payment Practices Report?
What does "paid outside agreed terms" mean?
How often is this data updated?
Is this official government data?
How this is compiled. Built from official records only: Companies House and the gov.uk payment-practices service. The payment figures are self-reported — companies over the size threshold must file them by law and the board signs them off. No credit-agency data. The numbers are theirs; the plain-English read is ours. This is information compiled from public records under the Open Government Licence v3.0 — not a credit rating and not advice.
The 31-day comparison figure is the median across 6,185 companies with a current statutory report — every sector pooled, not an average of sector medians (how the figure is built).
