Standard payment terms
Majority of supplier terms are 30 days, with some of these being 30 days end of month. The Company pays on an EOAP system of 1 main payment run each month on the 25th for all invoices due up to the 24th. There are also special terms for certain suppliers where there is an additional payment run on the 10th for invoices due up to the 9th.
Dispute resolution
Payments are only held if there is an ongoing dispute over the quality/number of goods received or the pricing on the invoice. In this case this will be queried with the supplier until an agreement is met and either a credit note is issued, or the matter is resolved whereby full payment is made,

What a 52-day cycle ties up
A worked example, not a finding. On a hypothetical £12k/month account, at a 52-day vs a 5-day payment cycle.
Late Payment Act. The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 lets a supplier charge statutory interest and fixed compensation on invoices paid past agreed terms. Work out what a late invoice is worth → Whether it applies depends on your contract — check with an adviser.

How this is compiled. Built from official records only: Companies House and the gov.uk payment-practices service. The payment figures are self-reported — companies over the size threshold must file them by law and the board signs them off. No credit-agency data. The numbers are theirs; the plain-English read is ours. This is information compiled from public records under the Open Government Licence v3.0 — not a credit rating and not advice.
