Standard payment terms
Toyota (GB) PLC's standard payment terms for third party suppliers are 30 days, however other terms are operated in exceptional circumstances by prior agreement of our Procurement department. Payment runs are made weekly, paying all approved invoices that are due, or falling due, prior to the next payment run. Standard payment terms for inter-group transactions with other Toyota entities are 25th following month (maximum 55 days).
Dispute resolution
In the first instance queries related to payment should be directed to our Accounts Payable team who are able to deal with the majority of queries. Escalation thereafter is with the relevant business area to whom the goods or services were supplied and then ultimately our Procurement department.
Other information
Toyota (GB) PLC operate a strict Purchase Order policy and suppliers should not accept an order without an official accompanying Purchase Order. Invoices that are received without quoting a valid Purchase Order number will inevitably be delayed for payment.

How UK payment reporting works
What is a Payment Practices Report?
What does "paid outside agreed terms" mean?
How often is this data updated?
Is this official government data?
How this is compiled. Built from official records only: Companies House and the gov.uk payment-practices service. The payment figures are self-reported — companies over the size threshold must file them by law and the board signs them off. No credit-agency data. The numbers are theirs; the plain-English read is ours. This is information compiled from public records under the Open Government Licence v3.0 — not a credit rating and not advice.
The 31-day comparison figure is the median across 6,185 companies with a current statutory report — every sector pooled, not an average of sector medians (how the figure is built).
